* struggles with ptsd, survivor’s guilt and depression. banshees are known to be women who died too soon. she had a brush with death in the end of sophomore year after being attacked by peter hale. it should have turned her werewolf side, however, due to coming from a family of banshees on her father's side, she becomes one herself.

TEEN WOLF MOVIE. i will not, in any way, be compliant with the teen wolf movie due to the treatment of arden cho. also, i have been writing lydia for years and i have developed her way past canon and i have no interest in getting my portrayal intertwined with that mess ever again.
PETER HALE. i am willing to write with peter hale, as long as there is plotting done beforehand. however, i will never write their relationship as romantic under any circumstances.
JORDAN PARRISH. i am willing to write with jordan parrish, as long as there is plotting done beforehand. however, i will not write their relationship as romantic during canon under any circumstances as he was over 21 and she was 17-18.
JACKSON WHITTEMORE. i am willing to write with jacksons, as long as there is plotting done beforehand. and while i know their relationship is incredibly toxic and abusive, i will not be erasing its existence from lydia's background as it helped her become who she became. writing them together post canon will not happen, but lydia does have lingering and confusing feelings for him in some verses.
STYDIA. while i do ship lydia with stiles, they are not my main ship for lydia. i think canon missed on their timing and stiles was in love with the idea of lydia, while lydia was in love with who stiles thought she was. in my portrayal, she is single because their relationship did not work out. they do love each other very much, it just is not like that. this part of my portrayal was developed in affiliation with wereache's stiles.

please note i have been writing lydia since 2015 and have since developed her a lot expanding beyond canon. the notes below are a copy and paste of my former notes on lydia's blogs so i will be adjusting them.
EICHEN HOUSE. lydia martin indeed did go to eichen house and was rescued by the entire pack. however, it took her a long time to recover from the trauma she went through – which was extremely intense. she had nightmares, she was terrified of physical touch ( or people coming close to her in general ) and she relied heavily on the pack, jordan and her mom to get better ( the only people she trusted. ) this all means that after eichen, she is fragile. but, honestly, considering the amount of tragedy she has been dealing with through the years, this should not come as a surprise. however, she is also doing her hardest to keep it secret. she does not want the pack to see just how traumatized she is, she does not want them to see her as a burden. especially after they already put so much effort into rescuing her. her wearing long sleeved shirts, pants and darker clothes is a reflection of that.
BANSHEE POWERS. in my portrayal, lydia does not want to use her powers again because she killed someone, she hurt stiles, and, if it wasn’t for parrish, she could have killed the entire pack. this is not something she takes slightly. she is not going to just close her eyes and pretend she did not take a life. surely, the man she killed was someone who had been torturing her, but she does not want to be a bad person. she is scared of just how expanded her powers are and she will not be using them unless strictly necessary.

callista cannot remember a day in her childhood where she was alone. she was blessed with cyprus as a twin, someone who was there for her through everything she ever lived. the two of them were best friends and partners in crime, always supporting each other.
when cyprus got into sports, callie got into cheerleading to be able to be there for him. truthfully, she was a bit dependent on her twin brother. that was until she got into gymnastics, a world that was only hers for her to thrive in.callista was a brilliant gymnast, one that won many medals. however, with the competitions came the pressure. the pressure to lose weight, to be perfect, to dedicate herself even more. of course, all callie ever wanted was to be great and that was how the problem started. at first, she was cutting carbs. then came the crazy diets. then the starving herself & the vomiting. it was not until callista was passing out mid routine that her family realized something was wrong. in the end, she ended up seeing a therapist. it helped, a lot, but then cyprus got into a fatal car accident & everything changed.it was funny, really, because callie lost her twin the moment she needed him most. in fact, the twins, who had never been separated before in their lives, were now just callie. losing cyprus hit her hard, so much so that callie spent summer in a mental health clinic because of depression and her eating disorder. it was the only thing her parents thought to do. of course, being away helped. but cal still feels a hole in her chest because of how much she misses him. luckily, she had her friends back then to help her heal. except even that has been falling apart. needless to say, callista is a firm believer that nothing good ever lasts for her. she has lost everything she loved at one point in her life & it’s hard not to think she’s the reason why, especially when she’s the common denominator.

vanessa rivers is the only daughter of natasha and james rivers, who are hollywood’s sweethearts since they met shooting a movie ( think brangelina! ) growing up, she had everything she could have ever asked for in life. caring parents, comfort, a good house in los angeles. however, she always felt somehow incomplete — never quite finding a lot of happiness of her own. she solved most of her problems with partying, acting and modeling herself but soon enough it became clear that she needed something more. vanessa wanted to be able to live her own life and make her own choices — which was when she decided to apply for an university halfway across the country ( verse dependent: might just be that she moved away to start her career without her parents’ influence. ) but ever since that, a lot has happened. while her identity is still a secret to most of her peers, she goes by a different last name, vanessa’s parents’ relationship fell apart while the girl was gone for that whole year — and in a grand scandal too, the both of them being caught cheating on each other. of course, it didn’t help that it was vanessa’s then boyfriend who leaked the information to the press, but he said he’d rather have her parents be scrutinized by the media than himself. vanessa leaked his secret the day after but that was a mere detail. now, it’s been months since her world changed and vanessa herself changed as well. despite always having been a party girl, nessa has been more lost than ever and she has been spiraling with her partying once more. all this combined with the pressure of keeping her identity a secret? it has been… a lot. save her please.

be like snow, beautiful and cold. those are the words that come to mind once one thinks of winter hakimi. not only because of her name, but because of who she has always been. growing up as the middle daughter amongst three sisters, there was nothing particularly special about the brunette. it was not as though she felt like she did not matter, she just felt like she was… right.the only place winter ever felt at home was when she was dancing. her mother, mirella, took her to her first ballet class when she was 5 and that was when she found her passion. when she was dancing, the rest of the world did not matter. it was then that winter felt special. she dedicated herself to ballet all her life, alongside school, making plans to attend juilliard and become a professional ballerina. it was the dream and came senior year, it was all right there at the touch of her hands.except prom night game and she got into a car with her friends and they were all under the influence and… well, the last thing she remembered was a car and the sound of brakes. there was an accident after her friend ran a red light. she was alright, they all were, but her knee had been damaged in the process and she never would be able to dance professionally again. it was hard, accepting she had gotten so close to her dreams but she would not be able to live them.the years which followed were hard, and the already closed-off became even more reserved. she did not care about much. it was only when her childhood’s ballet studio was on the edge of closing that winter got her head out of her ass and decided to do something. she bought it, using all her new york fund. now, she has a dance studio and she has no idea what to do next. but for the first time in years she feels hopeful.
